Charming Streets of Florence

The streets of Florence are so charming. You never know what famous landmark you’ll see at the next corner. Here are some photos I took around the city.

The sign on the left says "Piazza del Pesce".

Love these alleyways.

Charming signs and lamps all over Florence.

Cluster of buildings in Piazza del Duomo. This is to the left of the Duomo.

Another street lamp at Piazza della Repubblica.

Bigallo Loggia, formerly an orphanage, located at Piazza del Duomo.

Statues above the Gates of Paradise of the Baptistery depicting the Baptism of Christ.

Stores selling gold jewelry on our way to Ponte Vecchio.

Decorations adorn the buildings like the coat of arms above.

Detail of ornate decoration on facade of entire building.

Outdoor shopping.

That's Palazzo Vecchio in the background.

Lastly, check out this cute car we saw parked by Santa Croce. Is that really a car? It looks like a golf cart with a cover!

I’ll be back there next week! I wonder if there will still be snow. I love wandering in Florence.
